NEW: SDEX - dtd editor for Xeddy
Xeddy has a new integrated DTD editor SDEX. If you want to try it please click here.
Xeddy is an XML editor written in Java and this is its community page. If you are using our editor, you can take advantage of discussion groups, regular application updates and of a selection of experimental stuff. Here you can share your own code written for Xeddy, meet other users and developers and discuss your ideas and problems. Welcome to the Xeddy support and community page.

Documents

We have prepared some texts regarding Xeddy's development. They explain why we have chosen JBuilder and why we have switched Xeddy into standalone application. There are some tips here how to start writing modules for JBuilder (we will prepare a viewer for unsupported image type; a ready-to-use module and a sample image is available) and a bit about Xeddy's architecture.

Applications

You can currently try out our experimental stuff: a simple personnel application, and a bit more sophisticated favorites and colortable applications. Simply unzip the packages and drop the .jar file in the ~/lib/ext directory (see the enclosed README for more details).

FAQs

Please try to find your problem in FAQ document first. We are aiming to make this document well structured and easy to understand. You will find general information, information related to installation and running here.

Discussion groups

There is currently one mailing list: click here to subscribe. If you are having problems with the list, please contact xeddysupport@amaio.com. And, of course, you can also unsubscribe from this list.
